NEW! Original mixed media painting/Weights and measures

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This painting was inspired by a visit to Barony Mill in Birsay, one of the last working mills in the UK today. I really liked the forms and shapes created by this old weight which was placed on a window sill inside one of the mills downstairs windows.  I have used a mixture of acrylic paint, collage and oil crayons to paint this picture which has been framed and glazed with a light ivory mount and grey wood moulding.

The overall framed size is 450X570mm, this includes a 55mm wide mount and 30mm wide moulding. The actual image size is 280X400mm.
