NEW! Original painting/Puffins taking flight

An original watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

These two puffins were just about to fly off from a cliff face at The Brough of Birsay. I always enjoy painting these cute we birds with thier colourful rainbow beaks and bright orange feet. I have 'framed 'both birds with a surrounding blue sky which highlights thier white feathery chests and heads. I don't have 'black' in my watercolour palette so the darker feathers are mixed from Indigo blue and vermillion. There is no 'white' in this painting either, just the white of the watercolour paper.

Framed and glazed with a pine wood moulding 20X20mm and mounted with an ivory mount 70mm wide. The signed and titled painting is 330X235mm in size and the overall size of this framed original watercolour is 515X420mm. Ready to hang with d-rings and string attached to the back.
