Original mixed media painting/Fly high, Blackbird fly high

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

This painting was inspired by the 'Beatles' song, 'Blackbird' which I love. Hidden within the flowers in this picture is a fine line drawing of a blackbird which is also one of my favourite  birds. I have used a mixture of geli printing and drawing on to a vintage sheet of paper to create this image. The image is finished with gold leaf.

The picture is framed and glazed with a 30mm wide box wood moulding and mounted on to  cream mountboard. The overall size framed is 350X280mm.
