NEW! Original watercolour painting/Summertime in Westray

An original watercolour painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

I really love the wonderful turquiose and blue colours of the sea and sky which contrast with the lime green of the seaweed and landscape in this watercolour painting of Grobust beach on the island of Westray. This particular beach is one of my all time favourite coastlines and I felt very privileged to be able to sit on the rocks above the beach and paint this wonderful landscape on a beautiful summers day in July. 

THe overall size of this painting framed and glazed is 545X320mm. The actual painting size is  380X160mm and it is mounted with an ivory mount width 55mm. The light grey wood moulding is 25mm deep and 28mm wide.
