All of my original artworks are painted on either heavy handmade rag watercolour paper or canvas board/canvases. For many years I concentrated on painting with only watercolours, but these days I like to experiment with many different materials such as acrylics, collage using my own photography and other mixed media materials. I feel I have a real affinity with wildlife and especially seabirds which are in abundance here in Orkney. Often my paintings are intertwined with both wildlife and landscape. I like to think that my paintings are full of the colour, light and emotions of the Orkney landscape.

If you would like to know more about any of my individual artworks, please don't hesitate to e mail me at jane@janeglue.com

Most of my original work is already framed by my local framer. If you would like a painting to be framed for you, this can be arranged. After so many years in business I am pretty good at packing artwork for posting. The Post Office is the best option here in Orkney for delivering artwork. It is possible for me to arrange for artwork to be sent by carrier. If you would prefer to this option, I can obtain a quote for you from a local carrier. However, this option would be at an extra cost to you.

If you live locally or are visiting Orkney, you can arrange to collect original work from my studio or from my sister, Judith Glue's shop in Kirkwall.

Please e mail jane@janeglue.com to arrange any of these options.
