Original painting framed/Gannets and cliffs, Westray

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue

This painting was created with acrylic paint, collage ink and gesso medium which gives the image lot's of texture. There is a colony of gannets at Noup head in Westray where this image was painted, I usually visit the colony each year. The scenery was spectacular on this day and the 'sounds' of the bird colony and the sea sent shivers up my spine!

The painting is framed with a 50mm wide pine moulding, an 80mm wide ivory mount and glazed. The overall size is 800X620mm.
