Happy curlews

A limited edition print from a mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue

 This piece of rusty farm equipment made a nice composition against the wildflower field and the curlews. I used a painting medium called 'gesso' to get texture and then dropped over the watercolour when it was dry. The birds have been outlined with brown ink using a favourite piece of twig that I found one day at the shore.
