Original painting framed/Rockpool textures

An original mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glue

This painting is based on a rockpool next to the path which leads you across to The Brough of Birsay. I have added 'found' coral, sea glass, driftwood, old pottery and shells found on the shoreline into this image which is painted using a mixture of watercolours, collage and oil crayons on to a heavy watercolour rag board.

The actual image size of the watercolour board is 400X300mm, the watercolour painting board is 'float' mounted  on to a cream mountboard. The overall size glazed and framed is 510X395mm, this size includes a white wood box moulding, 45mm deep and 30mm wide.  The painting is signed and titled on the front of the image.
